Closed Silk Scarf

Silk

Closed uses crêpe de chine, a high-quality silk fabric from Hangzhou in China. Crêpe de Chine is woven with over-twisted weft threads. The result is a material with a light crêpe character, with a fine sheen on the outside and a matt velvety feel on the inside. Thanks to its characteristic surface, the fabric is dirt-repellent and does not crease.

How best to care for silk

After wearing, silk garments should always be aired and, if necessary, dust removed with a dry cloth. When ironing, turn the garment inside out and then carefully smooth it out at a low temperature, placing a thin cotton cloth in between. If your garment is stained, it is best to take it to the dry cleaner.
